It is being reported that Notts County manager Ian McParland is to leave, perhaps as early as tomorrow.
According to Goal.com there has been 'a series of meetings between the club's Chief Executive Officer Peter Trembling, their Middle Eastern backers and the Director of Football, Sven-Goran Eriksson.'
"It’s no secret that McParland is currently in disfavor because the club has not exactly been setting League Two alight. The management has given him an order to ensure continuity but they seem to have run out of patience," said a source close to the club.
"However, the decision has been made and they could sack him as early as tomorrow. You have to remember, County have a five-year plan in place and are very ambitious, but the manager will not be a part of it."
