Craig Stanley, the former Bull who scored for Morecambe yesterday, has apologised for his goal celebrations which incensed some of the travelling support.
"I had two good years with Hereford and I was disappointed to hear a few boos when I came on," said Stanley as reported by PA Sport.
"Perhaps I over-reacted because the majority of Hereford fans were great to me when I was there and I would like to apologise to them.
"But we should have won the game, which we dominated. But credit to Hereford who fought for the whole 90 minutes although I think they got out of very luckily."
