Pugh slight doubt for Cheltenham Clash

Hereford United's Marc Pugh is a slight doubt for tomorrow's local derby against Cheltenham Town. The winger had a knock on the thigh towards the end of Tuesday's Carling Cup game against Charlton and had to be subbed.

Otherwise, with the exception of James Trolley who has had flu, manager John Trewick told BBC Hereford and Worcester that he was hopeful of a fully fit squad to choose from. Trolley was hoping to return to training this morning.

Meanwhile Trewick has spoken to the Worcester News about injuries and the game.

"There are one or two who are feeling the effects of 120 minutes but hopefully by tomorrow they will be fine," said Trewick.

"Jamie rang me yesterday saying he wanted to return but he was still feeling it a bit so we thought he should stay away for another 24 hours. We want to make sure nothing comes into the club so this was the sensible option."

As for the game:

"Cheltenham did well over the last few years before their relegation but to get three points off our local rivals would be particularly pleasing."

Meanwhile Robin's manager Martin Allen is hoping that his club can continue their unbeaten run in League Two.(just one game - ed)

"Saturday is a big game for this club," Allen said.

"The defeat at Hereford last season still hurts me.

"We'll have a lot of supporters there this year and we have to continue to try and do our best in the league, which is the most important competition for us.

"We're joint top at the moment and we need to try and keep that going."

Finally Cheltenham still have about 100 spare tickets for the game at Edgar Street according to their OS this morning.
