Speaking to BBC Hereford and Worcester, John Trewick appeared pleased with the performance of his side against Bristol City last night.
"Everybody has played their part tonight," said the Hereford United manager.
"There were a lot of good things, a lot of plus points and I'm far from upset.
"I thought first half we did very very well. Certainly for the first thirty-five minutes we created chances and looked very good going forward.
"I was pleased with the defending. We were throwing our bodies in the way and getting into good areas to clear the ball.
"Second half we didn't quite get it going. We allowed them far too much possession but they are a good side."
Trewick mentioned several players in the interview.
"I thought (Lee) Morris deserved his goal. We had him for a week and a half now and he's doing fine.
"Mark (Pugh) has got good ability. He's got two good feet. I thought he created a number a opportunities from that left hand side position.
"Kenny Lunt is a good footballer. I've brought him here to put on the sort of display that he showed in the first half. Very assured, very composed."
The manager confirmed one extra friendly behind closed door at Birmingham's training centre. He also said that there are more trialists to come in.
