Former Bulls player Kris Taylor who is out of work having declined the offer of a contract at Edgar Street tonight turned out for the Valiants against Rocester.
Vale manager Micky Adams praised Taylor's performance telling The Sentinel "I thought Kris Taylor at left-back looked accomplished and his passing was good. He also scored a great goal with his right foot. But it wasn't a severe test for him."
Vale are due to play Newcastle Town on Saturday but it is not known if Taylor will feature.
