Monday, July 13, 2009 - By Organic Bull - Jacques Maghoma on Trial at Edgar Street  Jacques Maghoma, who has played part of this evening's game against Bristol City, was released by Spurs on June 1st 2009. Recently he has been on trial at Burton Albion and played a part in a friendly against Derby County last Saturday.

Attacking midfielder suffered again from injury problems in 2007-08, ruling him out for a spell in mid-season, but recovered to make nine appearances for the reserves, scoring once.
Jacques joined our Academy full-time in 2004-05 having impressed as a schoolboy in 2003-04, making 21 appearances for our Under-17 side.
Played 21 times for the Under-18s in 2004-05 and made another 23 appearances in 2005-06, where he stepped up to the reserve team and played 10 times during our title-winning campaign.
Injuries have restricted Jacques to 14 appearances in the 2006-07 and 2007-08 seasons.
