News Round Up

Bury striker Andy Bishop is reported to have held talks over a move to Carlisle. The Shakers have already signed strikers Ryan Lowe and Danny Carlton, with the Cumbrians needing a replacement for the departing Danny Graham. Macclesfield have turned down a pay as you play offer from Lincoln for striker Gareth Evans, wanting a cash up front deal instead. Bradford are said to also be hunting the player.

Lincoln appear set to lose two out of contract forwards this summer. The protracted departure of Dany N'Guessan is said to be close to finalisation with a move to Leicester, while Romanian striker Adrian Patuela is reported to be attracting interest from a string of clubs. The Imps paid around £30,000 for the player last September, but only gave him a deal until the end of the season.

The Conference are to meet the FA to discuss the Northwich situation after the FA overturned their expulsion. The Conference say the appeal decision undermines their integrity. Ex-Bull Michael Rose may yet remain at Stockport after their takeover was announced. The deal has not been finalised, with his move to Hartlepool also delayed.

Chester have confirmed they have been accepted into the Conference at the AGM, and will start next season with a ten point deduction.
