The People is reporting that Peterboro are about to spend £400,000 on Bulls' midfielder Toumani Diagouraga. The paper reports:
Peterborough United boss Darren Ferguson is signing French midfielder Toumani Diagouraga from Hereford United in a bargain deal this week.
The 21-year-old caught Ferguson's eye despite the clubs going their separate ways in League One last season and he will join the Championship side for a fee of around £400,000.
Diagouraga - a strapping 6ft2in defensive sitter - began his career at Watford and played in all of Hereford's matches last season.
'Big Dave' has two years left on the Bulls contract he signed last summer and has made a total of 98 appearances for the Bulls since arriving, initially on loan, from Watford in the summer of 2007.
His permanent arrival at Edgar Street was 'paid for' by an agreement as part of the Lionel Ainsworth transfer to the Hornets barely three months after his loan arrival. He is flying back to England from France on Monday, but it is unclear whether it is to complete this claimed deal.
