Bulls to play Charlton at home in Carling Cup

Hereford United have been drawn at home against Charlton in the first round of the Carling Cup.

The tie is expected to be played on Tuesday August 11th.

Assuming they haven't been loaned out by the Addicks, it could mean a return to Edgar Street for Darren Randolph and/or Stuart Fleetwood. Randolph has been offered a new deal by the club, while Fleetwood is waiting for the resolution of their takeover to see where his future lies.

It will be the first time in 20 years that the Bulls have played Charlton in a competitive match. In the 89/90 season the two met, again in the League Cup, with the Addicks winning both matches of the two legged tie to go through 4-1 on aggregate.
