Diagouraga wants to leave Hereford says Fry

Hereford United midfielder Toumani Diagouraga, 'Dave', is expected to sign for Peterborough tomorrow. He has been held up in France because of bad weather.

"He missed his flight this morning. He was coming from France but because of the rain in Paris he got held up. I'm waiting for his agent to ring me," Posh director of football Barry Fry told the BBC.

"We've agreed an undisclosed fee with Hereford and we've been given permission to speak to him.

"Darren Ferguson spoke to him on the phone and I'll meet with his agent to hopefully conclude a deal.

"He's a player the manager identified this time last year but I just couldn't do a deal with Graham (Turner) at the time as they'd just got promotion along with us and it was a vital year for him.

"Now because they've gone back down, the player wants to leave although he's got two years left on his contract.

"We've agreed a transfer fee and we've just got to agree personal terms and he got to pass a medical. We don't anticipate any problems."
