Bury manager Alan Knill has praised Wayne Brown's performance against Shrewsbury on Thursday evening in the first leg of a League Two play-off when the former Hereford United keeper kept a clean sheet.
'Superman' Brown made two 'stunning' saves from Shrewsbury's top scorer Grant Holt.
"The stats show we have the third lowest goals against in the division. We are a tough team to break down," said Knill.
"We worked really hard in the summer to get Wayne, he has already been promoted with Hereford, and when he became available we knew he was the one for us. We’re thankful we did get him because he’s a top keeper.
"There is still plenty for us to work on, but we are just preparing for another game like the one on Thursday — I can’t see it being any different.
"We will have a look at penalties but, hopefully, we will win in normal time."
