Two Millers in a Row

What the odds are against having two Millers in charge of two consecutive Hereford United games isn't known, but fate has degreed that Nigel Miller will referee Saturday's home game against Leicester and Pat Miller will be in charge of the away game against Tranmere on Easter Monday.

The two Millers are not related. Nigel comes from Tyne and Weir and Pat from Bedfordshire.

Hereford United have not seen Nigel this season. However in another unlikely twist of fate, the last time the Bulls met him was at Tranmere last season in the FA Cup game which was drawn 2-2 with goals from Ben Smith and Trevor Benjamin.

To date this season Nigel has been in charge of 30 games in which he has dealt out 70 yellow and 5 red cards.

Pat Miller refereed the game at Edgar Street earlier this season when the Bulls defeated Crewe 2-0. That afternoon Stephen O'Leary and Bradley Hudson-Odoi were the Hereford scorers.

To date this season Pat has refereed 24 games and given out 75 yellow and 8 red cards.
