No Endeavour says Broadhurst

Hereford United skipper Karl Broadhurst admitted that his team were dominated by Brighton at Edgar Street last night.

"We were pathetic. We didn't show any character or endeavour," Broadhurst told BBC Hereford and Worcester.

"We were a goal down again going in at half time, and we gave it a bit of a go in the second half, but we gave away another sloppy goal and the game was over.

"It has not been good enough all season and tonight epitomised it.

"We looked scared, we got bullied all over the pitch, as the home team we should have taken the game to them.

"But we didn't want to work hard enough, we didn't want to keep the ball.

"We have got a game which on a paper we should lose on Saturday.

"But we should see that as a challenge, we need to show some fighting spirit against Leicester.

"Bigger teams come here and think we are a Mickey Mouse outfit, but I hope the 3,000-odd fans who didn't turn up against Brighton will be there to back us on Saturday."
