Decisions, Decisions

With Graham Turner reporting 'up to eleven' missing bodies for yesterday's match, he will likely spend Monday morning deciding what are likely to be his final moves in the loan market this season.

In goal the injury to Peter Gulacsi appears to be touch and go, and it may well be a Monday morning decision from the Liverpool medical team that dictates whether Turner approaches the Football League for an emergency keeper signing for Tuesday night. It will have been seven weeks since Craig Samson underwent groin surgery, but there is no reported schedule for his return. Many footballers return in 6-8 weeks, so his availability should be imminent.

Up front, Turner will also have to make a decision on Bradley Hudson-Odoi. His loan at Grays expires on Monday, but he is yet to score for the Conference strugglers after six starts and one sub appearance from the nine matches they have played in the month. The general expectation from Grays at the time of his signing was that it was with a view to a permanent summer move, so the loan was likely to be extended.

Meanwhile, in today's only League One fixture, Tranmere beat Bristol Rovers 2-0 to remain in touch with the play-offs.
