News Round Up

Weymouth boss Alan Lewer will quit the club after next Saturday's home match with Rushden, claiming the club needs up to £25,000 by Tuesday to cover bills. Today's Non-League Paper has potential owner Lee Power quoted as saying his attempt to buy the club isn't dead. Northwich hope to complete the paperwork this week to return to their own ground.

Accrington are to bolt 900 seats to their home terrace to comply with ground grading regulations. They require 2,000 seats to remain in the Football League, but currently only have 1,200, and the grace period for them to install the additional expires on May 1st. The installation of the seats, from St Mirren's old ground, has caused fans to claim it will damage the atmosphere at matches.

Oldham toyed with the idea of fielding top womens player Marta during one of their pre-season games as a stunt for a Channel 4 show, but pulled out over concerns it would damage the club's image.
