News has reached Bulls News that visiting football fans are not flavour of the month in Cheltenhamshire.
Apparently, this stems from several disturbances and a couple of incidents of actual damage in Pubs very recently. The result is that some Pubs have chosen to not admit visiting fans this weekend. Regrettably, our contact does not have a list of those Pubs admitting/refusing entry.
Coach parking. All coaches will be parked at The Racecourse after dropping passengers either at the ground or in town. Drivers are to remain with the coaches which will return to park outside Whaddon Road at 4.30. There is a very real possibility that checks for booze will be made on coaches as they approach Cheltenham.
Also, anyone who displays signs of having had one too many will be offered custodial hospitality and therefore miss the match. In short, they appear to be taking this Cup Final of theirs rather seriously.
