Scunthorpe captain Cliff Bryne will miss next Saturday's League One game against Hereford United.
The centre back picked up his fifth yellow card of the season yesterday in the Irons FA Cup game at Watford.
The Hornets won the game 1-0.
Gary Hooper, who was part of the Hereford United squad for the latter part of last season, played the whole 90 minutes for the Irons.
