Oldham Athletic manager John Sheridan is being very cagey about next Saturday's game against Hereford United at Edgar Street. Past experience suggests he feels he mustn't be too confident of a win even though the Bulls are bottom but one in the league.
"Teams fighting and scrapping for everything make it difficult. Hereford have had some decent results, so I'm expecting a very hard game - we have to expect a fight and be ready for it," he said.
"It's important we try and win the game and then see whether the results go for us. It's no foregone conclusion but we have to be confident we can go and get something from the game."
Sheridan is said to be trying to bring in a defender before Saturday's game.
