Oldham's new striker is expected to reach 91 on Saturday assuming he plays against Hereford United at Edgar Street.
Dean Windass has already played at 90 of the 92 League Grounds.
"Hereford is one of only two grounds I haven't played at," Windass told the Official Oldham website.
To complete the list he has to play at Accrington's Fraser Eagle Stadium at some time in the future.
"Then I'll have played at them all! I'm really looking forward to Saturday's game - I just want to play football and score goals."
Windass is also close to another milestone. He needs just two more goals to bring his tally to 200 League goals.
