It looks as though both Hereford United and Hartlepool United will have to field depleted sides tomorrow when they meet at Edgar Street.
Hereford United injury problems have already been reported on but illness in the Hartlepool camp might level matters.
"It's all hands to the pump and if they are 70, 80 or 90 per cent fit, they might well be called upon," said manager Danny Wilson.
"They were coughing and spluttering all through the game on Tuesday.
"It's not easy to get this type of virus out your system particularly when you're a professional athlete.
"We can't worry about it too much because injuries and suspensions are the nature of football.
"Any team up and down the country will have a bit of a problem when you have got your most influential players missing.
"We've got heavier casualties than we thought we would get at one moment in time. Maybe you can carry one or two, but when you have got four, five or six it proves very difficult."
BBC Sport reports that 'Antony Sweeney, Ben Clark, Joe Tait and Jamie McCunnie are all ill leaving Hartlepool struggling for numbers.
Striker Joel Porter (thigh) is out, as are suspended duo midfielder Ritchie Jones and keeper Arran Lee-Barrett.'
