News Round Up

Walsall have sacked young winger Ishmel Demontagnac after repeatedly breaching club discipline rules. The 20 year old hot head was sent off on Saturday for an off the ball incident, then arrested in the small hours of Sunday for an alleged breach of the peace. He scored a hat-trick against Southend in August, but couldn't get a regular game due to his volatile urges.

Stockport boss Jim Gannon has rejected a new contract offer from the club. He is currently on a 12 month rolling deal but a clause in the contract states that the deal would be reviewed after promotion. Yeovil have denied press speculation linking full back Nathan Smith to a number of Championship sides. Port Vale striker Luke Rodgers, out of contract in the summer, watched their game with Leicester in the week but a deal is no closer.

Rushden chairman Keith Cousins has warned fans that the club will face difficulty if they do not support the side. Their break-even gate is 1,500 but only 1,002 watched Saturday's win over Weymouth. Scunthorpe have loaned striker Jonathan Forte to Notts County for a month. He has scored only four times in 42 games for the Iron. Carlisle have released chief scout Stuart Gray and video analyst Kerry Morrow following John Ward's departure.

Crewe have announced that they do not need to offload players in order to bring new faces in. They hope to have two new loan players in place for this weekend. Peterboro are readying a bid for Harrow winger Robin Shroot. Barry Fry watched the 20 year old at the weekend. Northampton have signed Sheff Utd's teenage defender Kyle Walker on a months loan.
