Turner welcomes Murray

Hereford United's manager Graham Turner has welcomed the arrival of goalkeeper Matt Murray from Wolverhampton Wanderers for an initial one month emergency loan.

"Having a player of Matt Murray's stature, both physically and within the game, can only give us all a boost." Turner told the Hereford Times.

Turner also talks about the 'point blank' refusual of Darren Randolph to play in last Saturday's Cup-tie against Dagenham.

"It was an attitude that left me baffled. It was a situation that, in nearly thirty years of managenment, I had never experienced before.

"To tell me less than two hours before the game, after the team had been announced, was not what I would have expected from a professional player."

Finally Turner is still hoping to have new faces at Edgar Street by Saturday.

"We certainly hope to have brought in a new player or two before Saturday's big game against Cheltenham."
