Swindon's Maurice Malpas was disappointed his side failed to take all three points from the game at Edgar Street.
"I was a little disappointed that we didn't take the win, but we went to sleep for their goal and they were able to take a point," Malpas told the post match press conference.
"Billy gave the free-kick away with the handball which gave them the chance to get the ball in, and the marking wasn't there when the ball came back out. We seem to be getting punished for the mistakes we are making but the players have to cut them out.
"Their keeper made a great save at the end but we will take the point back with us."
Swindon captain Hasney Aljofree commented: "I think we deserved the three points if I am honest.
"Jerel got a great goal and we are all really pleased for him. As the away team we put Hereford under a lot of pressure and created chances. I didn't think we looked in too much trouble across the game but we are disappointed not to have taken the win."
