Gates could suffer - Turner

Graham Turner has told BBC Hereford and Worcester that many teams, including Hereford United, may be in danger of falling attendances due to the 'credit crunch'.

"Gates could be reduced. Families are finding it tough. Maybe not us, but I think a lot will have to deal with lower gates", commented Turner.

"One of the first things to go out of the window is kid's and dad's football".

It will be interesting to see whether attendances at Edgar Street will be affected this coming season, and also the away support for The Bulls which has been so strong in the past. With promotion to League One, United will be hopeful that their average attendance will increase, with the likes of Cheltenham, Bristol Rovers and Leeds visiting this year.
