Stat Attack!

The average attendance at Edgar Street was 3,421 for League matches this season, up slightly on last season's figure. Last year 3,328 was the average, and it was only beaten thanks to today's bumper gate.

Theo Robinson ended up as top scorer, with 16 goals. Trevor Benjamin and Gary Hooper both also got double figures with 11 each. There were sixteen different goalscorers this season. Robinson was also the the most active shooter, taking more than double the shots at goal of anyone else, but missing with just over half his shots.

Of the contracted attacking players, Lionel Ainsworth was the man with the golden gun - hitting the target with 73% of his shots. Loanees Gary Hooper and Shejill Macdonald also had good ratings, while Trent McClenahan may want a tryout as a striker, managing an 80% strike rate from his ten attempts. Richard Rose got the worst shooting record, with just five of 15 efforts on target. Shooting overall was massively improved from last season's best of 54%.

Wayne Brown has the most appearances this season, missing only three games of the 55 played in total. Both Smith and Toumani Diagouraga also made over 50 appearances in a Bulls shirt this season. The club used a total of 27 players, including four goalkeepers, compared to 30 the season before and only 26 in winning promotion to the Football League.

The only one not to make a Football League appearance was Michael Ingham, whose only game was in the JPT. Marcus Palmer takes the bow for the shortest playing season this time round, with six minutes against Dagenham in February his only excursion onto the pitch.

Robinson was also the dirtiest player, collecting 66 fouls. Clint Easton gave away the most penalties (2), and Dean Beckwith was booked the most. The Bulls committed 87 more fouls this season than last, but were only 12 above the cleanest, Stockport, who had two more sent off and collected four more yellow cards.

While eight sides conceded over 600 fouls last season, only Macclesfield and Chesterfield reached that point this time round. Barnet were the only side to get ten men sent off, while Morecambe and Accrington conceded the most penalties. League Two's dirtiest player, Darlington's Tommy Wright, can't hold a candle to his predecessor.

He managed only 97 fouls, and 11 yellow cards. Last season, Jason Lee managed 147 fouls and 18 cards. This time round injuries limited him to 81 fouls and just three cards in about half the games possible, but he still managed second place.
