Transfer Window ends next Thursday

The transfer deadline finishes next Thursday March 27th so Hereford United manager Graham Turner has just a few more days to bring another new face into Edgar Street.

"There is always a possibility but it depends on who is made available," Turner told the Hereford Times yesterday.

As regards the match against Bury on Saturday Turner will be without Robbie Threlfall who has an ankle injury. Stephen Glesson missed a friendly on Tuesday with an undisclosed illness but could be available.

The friendly with Team Bath, which ended goal-less, gave some match practice to the likes of Steve Guinan, Trevor Benjamin and Lee Collins.

Meanwhile in his weekly column Turner says he feels 'we are in good condition'.

"I believe we have enough experience, enthusiasm and versatility in the club to cover the remaining matches."

Finally Bury manager Alan Knill thinks his side could take a point or three from Hereford on Saturday.

"They are flying but I really think we can go there and get a result." said Knill

"I've been surprised by the way they have gone this season. If you had asked me who the top seven would be at the start of the season, I woudn't have said they would be up there. But they have used the loan system well, and Graham Turner has done a good job there."
