Millers D-Day As Court Rejects Bid

Rotherham will have a new investor by the end of today, or be in Administration and out of the play-off hunt.

A Judge yesterday ruled out a two week extension to their protection from creditors, but gave the club a 24 hour deadline to come up with a new backer or file for Administration.

They got the 24 hour extension after chairman Denis Coleman confirmed he was in talks in an un-named potential investor. Local papers suggest they owe an immediate £200,000 to the taxman amongst other debts after wiping out £3.7million in their CVA two years ago where they paid off just 1p in the Pound.
