Hereford United striker Steve Guinan took part in the friendly against Team Bath on Tuesday and manager Graham Turner says he's close to a return to the first team squad.
Guinan sustained a leg injury while playing against Notts County on January 1st. His expected return will give Turner an extra option up front.
"He played in the reserves in the week. He's making good progress and is not far off full fitness again," Turner told BBC Hereford and Worcester.
"He might not quite make it this Saturday but certainly Monday (at Lincoln) there is the chance that he might be involved."
In the corresponding game last season at Sincil Bank Guinan scored a hat-trick.
