Posh launch easy payment season ticket scheme

Season tickets for Peterborough's 2008/09 campaign go on sale on Saturday with a new spread payment option marketed as "The Simple Way" run in conjunction with Zebra Finance. Zebra are involved with dozens of clubs from The Premiership through to non-league.

Fans will have the option, from 22nd March, to purchase their season ticket in a simple and convenient way. Posh' Commercial Manager, Leigh Porter, explained: "we have listened to supporters views and one of the many requests we have received has been about a credit facility for season tickets. We are pleased to be able to introduce the credit facility through Zebra Finance where a price of a season ticket is spread over ten monthly instalments."

League two Clubs already believed to have used this scheme include Brentford, Rotherham, Darlington, MK Dons and Grimsby while other schemes are thought to be in place at many other clubs.
