Chesterfield and Rotherham have been fined £2,500 each for a mass brawl between the two sides in a match in December. Bury have reported that they received over 200 applications for the manager's position at Gigg Lane.

Peterboro have been charged with failing to control their players in the weekend game with Wrexham. The Dragons have not yet been charged, but are expected to get a call after all 20 outfield players were involved in a brawl. They have extended the loan of Oxford striker Rob Duffy until the end of the season.

Mansfield's run of six straight home defeats is a new club record, surpassing a mark made in 1990. It was all go at Field Mill last night, with both Chief Executive Stephen Booth and Chairman James Derry walking out by half time after a furious row with owner Keith Haslam. Booth offered his resignation, while Derry left to avoid further incidents with the owner who had been 'celebrating his birthday'.

Rotherham are to sign West Ham's teenage full back Joe Widdowson on loan as cover for injury victim Stephen Brogan. Rochdale are to sell the naming rights to their Spotland home to the highest bidder. They need the money to finance plans to be in the Championship within seven years.

Ex-Bull Tamika Mkandawire is to miss a month of the season as he is due to go under the knife to cure a groin problem. Another ex-Bull, Mark Robinson, is set to play his first match tonight for York reserves after nearly three months out with a broken leg.
