New Stadium for Chesterfield

Chesterfield Football Club are hoping to move to a new stadium.

Next week outline plans are being made available for supporters to see and comment on.

In conjunction with Tesco and Wilson Bowden developments the plans include new business and retail premisis and a 10,000 plus all seater stadium.

Saltergate is one of the oldest and most run down grounds in League Two. Visiting fans are usually put behind the goal with no shelter from the elements. However when the Bulls visited last month, Chesterfield took pity on them and allowed them into one of their covered stands.
