A couple of national newspapers are naming Crewe forward Ryan Lowe as the loan target for the Bulls.
The former Chester and Shrewsbury man joined Crewe in the summer of 2006 from Chester after he scored 13 times in their return to the League. He has been on the fringes of the first team at Crewe in recent weeks after a couple of niggling injuries. He spent five years at Gay Meadow prior to his stint at Chester, racking up close to 200 appearances.
He can play on the right side and centre of midfield or as a forward.
