Another Day, Another Striker For The Posh

Peterboro are set to sign Cambridge striker Scott Rendell after the player demanded a transfer.

The 17 goal striker will sign on loan at London Road later in the week before a six-figure summer transfer. The Posh made several bids for the striker over the last couple of weeks, eventually unsettling the player into making a Sunday afternoon ultimatum to the board.

League Two's top scorers have already signed six forwards for six-figure fees in the last twelve months. The most recent, Liam Hatch, has failed to start a game since his arrival six weeks ago.
