Another former Bull returns with Cardiff

Although most supporters will remember Paul Parry at Edgar Street, he's not the only former Bull returning to Hereford with Cardiff City next Sunday.

Tony Capaldi came to Hereford United from Birmingham City in September 2001 to cover an injury crisis.

"I went on loan from Birmingham City to Hereford when I was around 19 years old,” Capaldi told the South Wales Echo.

"I went there to gain experience and it was a good time. Paul Parry was in their team at the time and Graham Turner was manager, just as he is now.

"A couple of matches after I went there he went to the boardroom, but he was always at the club.

"We even had a little run in the FA Cup. We reached the first round just before I was due to go back to Birmingham so I stayed on a bit longer. Hereford won against Wrexham at that stage, but then we went out at Swindon Town.

"They will be pumped up for the visit of Cardiff City.

"Okay, we will be made slight favourites, but we have to make sure our attitude is spot on."
