Robinson enjoying his time at Hereford United

Theo Robinson says he is enjoying life at Edgar Street and has been speaking about the season so far.

At the beginning of the season he soon formed a trio with fellow Hornet Toumani Diagouraga and Watford's new loanee/signing Lionel Ainsworth.

"We were called the 'Three Musketeers' because of how well we linked up. Lionel is a really lively winger and I'm looking forward to seeing and playing with him again."

Robinson has scored ten goals to date.

"I've scored some good goals for the youth team, especially one in the FA Cup, but that one [against Bury last Saturday] was with my left foot so maybe it was the best one I've scored."

He spoke about Diagouraga

"He's doing well and he's been getting a few man of the match awards too. Toumani has been laying on a few of my goals so I hope that continues.

"I want 20 goals and I'm on course to do that, but helping the team is more important. We want to finish first or second this season. I think we can do that and we're on course to do that so we'll keep doing what we're doing."

The senior strikers at Edgar Street are Steve Guinan and Trevor Benjamin, who was once a Hornet, and Robinson said they had helped him at Edgar Street.

"They're always talking to me. If I do something wrong then I talk to them and they tell me what I need to do to improve, and that's helped me a lot.

"It's been a good experience so far. I'm enjoying it, I'm feeling confident and I hope I can continue working on my game and enjoying playing."

Robinson is hoping he might become the League Two player of the month at some stage. Last month he was pipped for the title by Jack Lester of Chesterfield.

'He [Lester] scored more goals than me that month I guess, but it was a good achievement to be nominated. My aim is to win it by the time I come back to Watford.

"I have a strong work ethic and I can work the channels well. I'm working hard on my hold up play and I think I'm improving it all the time."
