Rushden boss Garry Hill has been fined £1,500 by the courts after admitting a charge of common assault. The higher charge of ABH was reduced before the trial, with Hill also paying £1,000 in compensation to Salisbury assistant boss Tommy Widdrington.

Loan midfielder Nicky Law has rejected the offer of a third month on loan at Bradford to return to Sheff Utd. Brentford have extended the loan of Plymouth defender Ryan Dickson for a second month, and given free agent former Wales defender David Partridge a one month contract. The 29 year old was released by Bristol City in the summer.
