Bradford police are appealing for witnesses after football-related violence between two sets of people before Bradford's postponed home match with Rotherham. Notts County manager Ian McParland has been charged with misconduct after being sent to the stands during their match with Shrewsbury on December 8th.

Ex-Bull Gareth Sheldon scored the only goal of the game as Tamworth beat Hucknall in a rescheduled FA Trophy First Round tie. Also in the Trophy Oxford's season went further off the rails as they were dumped out by Tonbridge Angels, who ended the game with nine men but still won 1-0.

Stockport have told defenders Keith Briggs and Michael Bowler they can leave in January. The pair are on short-term contracts as they tried to prove their fitness after long injury spells. Wrexham have targeted Chester defender Paul Bolland as their first signing. The out of favour 31 year old played for the Dragons in a midweek friendly.
