Stevenage have named Peter Taylor as their new manager. The former England u-21 boss, who also had one game in charge of the full side, left Crystal Palace last month. He has previous experience in the Conference with Dover in 1995/6 before going to coach with England. Former manager Mark Stimson has been named as the new manager at Gillingham after the two clubs apparently agreed a deal.
Notts County have recruited former striker Tommy Johnson as an 'extra pair of hands' behind the scenes. The 36 year old retired from playing last summer after a disasterous spell at Tamworth, and will help the club in the short term. Lincoln have extended the loan of defender Hamza Bencherif from Nottm Forest for a second month.
Morecambe have signed Sheff Utd defender Ryan Cresswell on a months loan. The 19 year old previously had a month on loan at Rotherham earlier in the season. Aldershot coach Martin Kuhl has been reported to the FA by Crawley have he allegedly assaulted Crawley assistant Paul Raynor. Kuhl is alleged to have punched Raynor prior to being sent from the dugout, then trying to headbutt him in the tunnel at half time.
Ex-Bull Michael Rose will play his first match in eight months tonight after Anterior Cruciate Ligament surgery. Rose's last match was a 7-2 defeat at home to Rochdale, their opponents next Tuesday. Barnet have extended the loan of teenage Charlton midfielder Josh Wright for an extra month. The Bees have not lost in nine games with the player in their side. Brentford have announced losses of just £60,896 for last season. The losses were stemmed by the £700,000 combined sales of three players, and the club are hoping a move from Griffin Park will stabilise their finances.
