Hereford United's Trent McClenahan played the full ninety minutes for the Olyroos in their 2-0 win over Iraq earlier today in front of a crowd of over 13,000.
Mclenahan's work in defence was highlighted when 'Iraq's only chance came in the 41st minute, but Trent McClenahan cleared off the line after Danny Vukovic's initial save.'
And in the second half 'Trent McClenahan won a free-kick from Iraq's star player, Karrar Muhamed, and Kristian Sarkies delivered a magical ball for Milligan, who celebrated wildly after scoring a great goal.'
The Olyroos have another match next North Korea on Wednesday and the squad will be selected tomorrow (Sunday). The game takes place at the Kim Il Sung Stadium, Pyongyang. The pitch is artificial and it is expected to be close to freezing.
UPDATE Sunday 11am: McClenahan is in the 20 strong Olyroos squad that is travelling to North Korea.
