Hereford United supporters had to put up with cold, windy conditions at Edgeley Park this afternoon and a few jobsworth stewards as well.
The Bulls fans were given the open end behind the one goal as last year but with half a covered stand empty some supporters felt they had been given a raw deal by Stockport.
As it was, there was little atmosphere created by the Bulls fans as most of their energy was spent trying to keep warm, other than when Lionel Ainsworth scored.
Not unexpectedly Stockport's Adam Proudlock, who has a noticable resemblance to former Hereford United player Gareth Sheldon, came in for some stick about his size and Anthony Elding about his past, however it was the attitude of a few of the Stockport Stewards that soon became the target of some Hereford supporters.
The stewards repeatedly asked fans to sit down which was over the top on such a cold day. A couple of fans over-reacted and were ejected.
