Although Stockport are 14th in the table and have only won twice at home this season, they had a credible win at League One leaders Carlisle in the Paint Trophy last Tuesday with goals from Adam Proudlock, Matty McNeil and Anthony Elding.
"Before the Leeds encounter we have a very important League Two match at Stockport," Turner told the Hereford Times.
"It's a big game for us. It's a case of forgetting about Leeds because it can be a distraction and focusing on Stockport.
"We have got to take points from the game if we are going to maintain our challenge.
"The League is the priority."
Former Bull Michael Rose is playing again for the Hatters after a long lay-off. He came off the bench for the final quarter of the Carlisle game and may play a part in Saturday's game against his former club.
