Ince to stay with Dons

Despite speculation elsewhere, Paul Ince is expected to stay as the manager of MK Dons for the remainder of the season. His name has been linked in some quarters with the vacant managers job at Norwich.

"Someone's in a job and they obviously look at managers who are doing okay and just put two and two together," Ince told the Norwich Press.

"And all of a sudden you just get speculation about nothing really. We're trying to do a job here, we don't need speculation like that to disrupt what we're trying to do at this club."

MK Dons are top of League Two and play Lincoln tomorrow. Next Saturday they travel to Edgar Street for a game which could be between the first and second clubs in the League.

In other news, former Bull Danny Thomas scored the winner for Macclesfield this lunchtime in their 3-2 win over Wrexham. Bury defeated Notts County 3-1 at Meadow Lane. Neil Mackenzie scored the County goal with a penalty. Barnet, who missed a penalty, drew 1-1 with Mansfield.

Shrewsbury play Chesterfield with a 3pm start. If Chesterfield win they will move into second place in League Two above Hereford United.

Finally two former Hereford United players have joined struggling Northwich Victoria. Danny Willams and Scott Tynan have moved from Rushden and Diamonds and Gravesend (Ebbsfleet United) respectively.
