Rotherham United won their last friendly of this pre-season with a 2-1 win over newly promoted Hartlepool. The Millers visit Edgar Street next Saturday for the first League match of the new season.
Miller's manager Mark Robins said after the game:
"Today was more of a training session for us to see how we can push ourselves for the season. I would have liked to have seen us explore the more forward role, but we have worked hard this week with a mid week game against Sheffield United. But now we will just look forward to the game next week against Hereford.
"I'm pleased with our performance because the away side gave us a game. We haven't had any injuries apart from Hudson. Mark Hudson's injury is such a blow to us and to himself. His cruciate is still intact. So depending on whether the hospital find the full extent of the injury we will have to wait and see. He is having an early morning operation on Thursday and we will wait to see the results to find out whether he will be out for 6 weeks or 16 weeks."
