It has been confirmed by Cheltenham Town that central defender Michael Wylde has a broken jaw. Club physiotherapist Ian Weston, speaking from the hospital in Hereford where Wylde received x-rays, explained:
"Michael has a double displaced fracture of the lower jaw. He will be kept in hospital overnight and then transferred for surgery to insert a wire and plate.
"The healing will take about 10 weeks and it is not a process that we can speed up at all."
Meanwhile Shane Duff has been discharged from hospital having suffered mild concussion.
