Former Hereford United player Danny Williams is on trial at Boston and did his prospects little harm by scoring a goal this afternoon in a local game.
Meanwhile Gloucester City football club are to ground share with Forest Green Rovers at the Lawn for the coming season. The City were in desparate of a temporary home after their ground was flooded recently.
Reports suggest it would cost at least £100,000 to make the Meadow Park useable. Ceilings have collapsed and there was sewerage in the flood water. Even if the club had that sort of money to spend there is no guarantee that flooding wouldn't happen again. The only solution appears to be to move to a different location.
Finally Andy Williams played for all of the second half for Bristol Rovers in their friendly at Plymouth. However he wasn't on the winning side as Plymouth won the game 7-3.
