Eustace salutes Hereford United

One of last season's on-loan players has commented on his time at Edgar Street.

John Eustace, who signed a new deal at Stoke this week, was pleased to get his career back on-track at Hereford after an injury hit three seasons.

He played eight times, to help regain his fitness, for the Bulls and then featured in the Stoke squad for all but one of their last 25 games.

"When I came back last season they gave me a great reception. It was much appreciated and is something I won't forget," said Eustace.

"I was more than happy doing that as Hereford is a fantastic little club. It was an experience playing in League Two and it did me good."
