Pitman offered Player/coach job at Forest Green

Jamie Pitman (pictured) is to be offered the post of player/coach at Forest Green Rovers and Stuart Fleetwood may be joining him.

Manager at the New Lawn, Jimmy Harvey, is without a coach since Paul Wanless left the club and ex-Bull Pitman, who already has a UEFA B licence, is an obvious replacement.

"Jamie has already started his coaching badges so it makes sense to promote him," Harvey told the Gloucestershire press.

Rovers are looking for a striker and both Fleetwood and Chris Davies, a prolific striker from Shortwood United, are said to be targets.
