Trying to take over the world, Pinky. Or at least that's what it seems at Peterboro. After signing link-ups with two Scandanavian sides yesterday with more to follow, chairman Darragh MacAnthony is now sponsoring the Football League's Jolly Boys Outing (aka the AGM) in Portugal in the summer for the next two years.
Notts County have signed a trio of youngsters ahead of the weekend matches. Charlton pair James Walker and Myles Weston are joined at Meadow Lane by Hull defender Michael Byron. Walker previously had loan spells at Bristol Rovers and Leyton Orient.
Boston have signed Hartlepool striker Michael Proctor on loan for a month. The former Sunderland striker hasn't played due to injury since the Pools lost at Edgar Street in August. Weymouth chairman Martyn Harrison has confirmed that he is in talks to sell the club with more than one party interested in the ailing side.
Swindon have agreed the sale of teenage striker Lukas Jutkiewicz to Everton for an initial £400,000. The deal could reach £1million with clauses and will be completed in the summer when the 17 year old will sign a four year deal. Chester have shelved plans to sign Rushden's Curtis Woodhouse after it transpired that Grimsby still held his Football League registration and would require a fee.
Torquay have set themselves a target of 42 points to stay up, meaning they need 13 points from their remaining nine games. That target would have been enough in only one of the four seasons that there have been two relegation places to the Conference.
