Graham Turner has said that Simon Travis may move to Stockport.
There has been speculation for several days that Travis could be leaving Edgar Street and Richard Prime of the Hereford Times has reported that Travis has been in talks with Stockport manager Jim Gannon.
"It is likely that Simon will be signing for Stockport on loan today until the end of the season, perhaps with a view to a longer deal," Turner confirmed.
"Simon has done well for us and we gave him an opportunity. He played with Stockport manager Jim Gannon earlier in his career, they came to see us on Tuesday and he is talking to them again on Thursday (today)."
Turner thinks that he has adequate cover for Travis with Trent McClenaham and Rob Purdie.
"We still have Alex Jeannin and Richard Rose can also play at full-back," added Turner.
