Darlington goalkeeper Sam Russell firmly believes his team mates can catch a play-off spot this season.
With the club unbeaten in 12 matches they have risen slowly but surely to within three points of the play-off zone. He told their official website:
"We definitely believe we can make it. The team spirit in the camp is high, it has to be on the back of the run we have had. We would like to turn some of those draws into wins, but if we win the next game then we are right in it.
"We can't fall away at this stage and start putting in poor performances, we all know that there is a play-off spot up for grabs."
Meanwhile, midfielder Micky Cummins has been ruled out of Saturday's match with a hamstring strain. The summer signing from Port Vale has missed only two matches all season so far but is now expected to be absent for a month.
